Holy Cross Church
Susan designed a cherrywood entry reflecting the graceful neo-gothic style of the church. A motif of flowing water reminds worshippers of the sacrament of Baptism. The entryway was commissioned to celebrate the re-opening of the church following the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake.
Earlier work for the church involved creating stained glass panels to complete a set of altar windows from 1889. Selecting motifs from the existing Alpha, Omega, and Flaming Cross windows, she designed three new panels that blend seamlessly with the 100 year-old original stained glass.
